Malers Armin Reumann, German post-impressionist painter was born in Sonneberg.
In 1907 Reumann moved to Munich and studied at the Munich Art Academy and from 1910 he participated in exhibitions. He received first orders of Duke George II and Prince Ernst of Saxe-Meiningen.
His landscapes, portraits, still-lifes and interiors are all characterized by the spontaneous and intuitive capturing of a mood, of an atmospheric landscape. The most recent auction is a painting sold in 2020.
